Consultation
First, we might have a quick phone call to get to know each other a bit. Then I’ll invite you to my studio for an in-person consultation. We will discuss your vision for the portraits (if you have one!) and how I can best serve you. If you share photos of your home, that can help us plan for a session that matches your colors, style, and design needs. You will also have a chance to view a detailed price list. Your little one is welcome to join us at the consultation, so they can start getting to know and trust me.
I’m also happy to offer advice on wardrobe. Feel free to send me photos from your closet, Pinterest boards, or even pics from the store as you are shopping! I know this is a big day for you, and I am happy to provide the support you need to feel relaxed and confident.
Portrait Session
The session itself can take place in my studio, your home, or on-location. I’ll keep things relaxed and fun. My studio is so peaceful that parents of newborns might even find themselves taking a snooze while I work! I always take my cue from your children – when they need a break or a change, I flow with their moods to get the images you are looking for.
If you have booked a newborn session, I have everything we need right here in my studio – wraps, headbands, bonnets, blankets, props, and more. Just bring your baby and I’ll handle the rest!
Ordering Session
A few weeks later, I’ll invite you back to the studio for a live premiere of the best images we created. You can ooh and ahh over your pictures, then I’ll help you choose your favorite images and what to do with them. I have special software to show you what the portraits will look like on the wall – even your walls!
After you go home, I’ll get to work retouching every image to perfection (and even combine your favorite smiles from each kid into one photo!). Then I’ll work with my artisan partners to produce amazing museum-quality products for you.
Product Reveal
When your products are ready, you will visit my studio one more time for a portrait reveal. I’ll have all of your art displayed for you to examine and enjoy, so we can ensure that you love every single portrait. Then I will pack everything up securely and you can go home with your new treasures!

Pay a simple session fee to start ($200 for traditional, $300 for newborn), then decide on prints after you have chosen your favorite images. A complimentary digital file is included with every print you purchase!
